Anadolu Efes’ successful player Sasha Vujacic, who was selected as the MVP of the Beko All Star 2012 Turkish Stars-Foreign Stars organized in Trabzon last Sunday, donated three thousand liras (about 1200 euros) to the earthquake victims in Van.
Stating that one of the best way of integrating with a country and to understand the culture of that country is participating in social projects, Vujacic said “I enjoyed participating in Beko All Star game on Sunday, and I decided to donate the prize I won to the victims of the earthquake in Van. I hope I can contribute a little to the victims of the earthquake.”
Sasha Vujacic stated that those who lost their lives will not be among us again and that he would be happy to contribute to alleviate the pains of the people who had material and spiritual losses in the earthquake.

In the 15th All Star organisation held in Trabzon, Foreign Stars Team defeated Turkish Stars Team by 140-139; Anadolu Efes’ successful player Sasha Vujacic who played for the Foreign Stars added 24 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists and is the MVP of Beko All Star 2012.
In the All Star game, Anadolu Efes successful player Sinan Güler played for Turkish Stars while Vujacic and Dusko Savanovic played for Foreign Stars. In the All Star organisation, Cenk Akyol, who has been selected for the Turkish Stars team, could not play in the game because of illness.
The coach of the Turkish Stars Team was Anadolu Efes’ successful coach Ufuk Sarıca assisted by Ekrem Memnun.
In the game Turkish Stars Team players Sinan Güler had 17 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists, Foreign Stars Team players Sasha Vujacic had 24 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists, Dusko Savanovic had 6 points, 3rebounds and 1 assist.
At the end of the game, the MVP of the game, Sasha Vujacic was given the Turkish Basketball Federation Vice President Imran Isıldar and Beko Sales Director Ercüment Gülşen.
Dogus Balbay had 90 points in the first round in the slam dunk competition while Sasha Vujacic had nine points in triple competitions.
